Candace Murphy

candace murphyA Marietta, Georgia native, Candace has spent the last seven years in Alabama and now proudly calls the Gulf Coast home.

Candace began her news broadcasting career interning at WVUA-TV in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree at The University of Alabama and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

In 2010, Candace interned with WAGA FOX5 Atlanta where she worked closely with reporters, photographers and guests.

After graduation, Candace became a full-time employee with WVUA-TV where she worked as a reporter, assistant producer and guest coordinator.

In August 2011, Candace joined WALA FOX10 News as a general assignment reporter.

While at FOX10 News, Candace has alerted the public to stories about crime, deadly drugs, politics, environmental concerns, education and money. You can find Candace on FOX10 News at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. You can also catch Candace filling in on the anchor desk from time to time.

During her free time, Candace enjoys exploring the outdoors, dancing and painting.

Candace enjoys connecting with the community and hearing from viewers.
