MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Mobile Police arrested two brothers for allegedly selling narcotics from the Unique Convenience Store located on West Prichard Avenue.
Investigators said Rick and Mark McMillian were selling a variety of drugs, including methadone, from the local business.
“Methadone is usually used by prescription to treat drug addiction to different opiates so what we see here is these prescriptions are being filled and then sold to people on the street without prescriptions,” said Mobile Police Chief James Barber.

Jail records show both men have been in trouble with the law since the 1980’s. Mack just bonded out of jail about two weeks ago on controlled substance charges. Investigators said the day after Mack got out of jail, he was back at the business selling illegal narcotics.
“We’re looking for records. Where the drugs are being obtained, how they’re being obtained,” Chief Barber said.
Both brothers were taken to jail and the business was locked up.
