MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Alabama’s largest music festival is partnering with Country Music Television as they film the network’s popular weekly news and music series, “CMT Hot 20 Countdown” during this year’s festival.
The BayFest Music Festival will be celebrating its 20th anniversary the weekend of October 3-5 in downtown Mobile.
Scheduled to air following the three-day festival, “CMT Hot 20 Countdown” will interact with festival attendees and will discuss the latest news and videos from the hottest country artists.

Cody Alan and Katie Cook are the hosts of the weekly, two-and-a-half series where fan participation is a key component to the show. Fans are able to interact with Alan and Cook via social media outlets such as Twitter (#CMThot20), Facebook and Instagram.
