Enrollment at the University of South Alabama has topped 16,000 for the first time in its history.
USA also reports records were set in new student enrollment, first-time freshmean enrollment, graduate student enrollment, African-American enrollment and average freshman ACT score (22.9).
The 16.055 students represent a 4.9% increase from 2013.
Graduate student enrollment jumped 67% in the College of Engineering, 37% in the School of Computing and 19% in the College of Nursing.
The University of Mobile says it will release its enrollment figures next week.
Spring Hill College says it expects to disclose its enrollment figures by the end of this week. Vice President of Advancement Fred Salancy said, “This is a very strong class academically — one of the best and brightest based on standardized scores and grade point averages”.
