THEODORE, Ala. (WALA) – Motorcycle enthusiasts in the area got together, in spite of the heat, to host a “Ride for Bully Awareness” event in Mobile.
Event organizers say it started this morning in Mobile and ended in Theodore later in the afternoon.
The event was held to collect donations that will go to local programs that “support our schools in the area to teach and raise awareness” of the problem of bullying in schools.
Organizers said while many rode motorcycles, anyone with wheels could participate.
Sunday’s event in Mobile coincided with the International Ride for Bully Awareness that took place all over the country on this date.
