Dealerships raise $25,000 for Child Advocacy Center

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A non-profit organization that relies on donations is the Child Advocacy Center. The agency helps victims of child abuse.

On Thursday, August 21 Palmer’s Toyota Superstore and Airport Hyundai, a major supporter of the CAC, celebrated its yearly fundraiser.

Over the past 20 years, the dealerships have raised more than $280,000.

“So, I looked into this agency, found Pat Guyton was a tremendous worker, does a wonderful job leading it. And the service that they provide was something that I knew I needed to be a part of,” said Keith Palmer.

The donation comes after a 19 day fundraiser at the two dealerships. The sales teams agreed to donate $100 for each vehicle sold.
