MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – This weekend, the University of Mobile and the University of South Alabama held several events as they welcomed students to campus for the new school year.
Classes begin Monday, but this weekend was devoted to many activities in addition to moving the students into their assigned dormitories. Kathy Dean, Director of Public Relations for the University of Mobile, sent Fox10 News this photograph of Hollywood Game Night, held Saturday during Ram Rush orientation week.
“Students were contestants in various Hollywood game-style events at Ram Hall on the Christian university’s campus,” said Dean. “Ram Rush helps students get to know one another, learn about the campus, and start getting involved in campus life.”
It was also move-in day for students at the University of South Alabama. JagFest 2014 was held Saturday with new USA President Dr. Tony Waldrup and his wife, Dr. Julee Waldrup greeting and helping students move into residence halls.
USA activities also included a Campus Fair and the USA President’s Dinner Buffet Saturday evening..
