MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Saturday was a good day to buy lemonade in Mobile: the day was proving to be a very warm one.

The Lynde family, who live in the Dawes community, contacted FOX10 News to share this photo of their son’s lemonade stand and his first customer. Harriet Lynde, who took this photograph, said she wanted to thank Mobile Police Officer Casarez for stopping by to buy a cold drink of lemonade.

The Lynde family was having a yard sale, they said, and their son, Braxton wanted to sell lemonade.

“Little did I know he (Braxton) would make more money than I,” said Harriet Lynde.  “Just wanted to extend our appreciation to MPD.  A simple act of kindness goes a long way!”
