MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A day after NASCAR driver Tony Stewart’s incident in upstate New York, many are talking about the future of safety on the race track.
Saturday night, Stewart hit 20-year-old Kevin Ward, Jr. on the race track after Ward got out of his car that was spun out of control by Stewart. Ward got out to show his disgust at Stewart for spinning him against the wall. Stewart his Ward and he was pronounced dead on arrival to a local hospital.
