BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – Baldwin County Sheriff’s Deputies have neutralized an active meth lab, and made four arrests.

Officers responded to the 16000 block of Khola Stewart Road in the Rabun community in regard to suspicious activity.

When deputies got to the location, they detected a chemical smell coming from the trailer and saw smoke coming out of the back door. Authorities said they found the four suspects and an active one pot meth lab. The suspects were arrested and taken to the Baldwin County Corrections Center.

Arrested:

  • Kayla Nickerson, 25, unlawful manufacturing first degree, trafficking methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $1,026,000.
  • Savannah Duncan, 27, unlawful manufacturing first degree, trafficking methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $1,026,000.
  • Russell Merritt, 25, unlawful manufacturing first degree, trafficking methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $1,026,000.
  • Trevor Caprara, 19, unlawful manufacturing second degree. Bond set at 7,500.
