Jell-O molds made in honor of college teams, including SEC

Alabama Jell-O mold
Kraft Foods gelatin Brand Jell-O has made molds featuring college teams, including this one featuring the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Jell-O, the famous jiggly gelatin treat, is reportedly making more molds to honor some college teams, including Alabama, Florida and Texas A&M.

The Houston Chronicle reports that Kraft Foods released the 18 special “jiggler” molds of NCAA teams, including the Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas A&M, Florida, Georgia, LSU and others. Auburn was reportedly missing from the mix, according to the Chronicle’s photos. The team Jiggler molds began last year with four schools: Arkansas, Florida, Michigan and Texas.

Hermes Risien, Jell-O Brand Assistant at Kraft Foods, said in a press release,”We are excited to fun up tailgates and viewing parties with our expanded line of University Mold Kits.”  Risien said that the choices were made using special marketing data, according to the Houston Chronicle. “We determined school choice by a combination of local retailer support and fan base to develop an optimal portfolio of universities across the country,” he said.
