“The Hartley family and Arthur Lewis would like to express our deepest gratitude towards those who stopped and rendered aid to us after our tragic accident. Your actions in a time of crisis were so kind and heroic to us all. Our families continue to grieve the loss of our beloved sister, and Arthur’s fiancé, Debra Hartley. Debra will be missed tremendously by all who loved and knew her. We are happy to report that the young child who was thrown from the vehicle is in stable condition now and expected to be released from the hospital soon. We appreciate all of the thoughts, prayers and support of the Mobile community.”
