Verizon wireless is using the NFL as a selling point. If you subscribe to Verizon’s “More Everything” plan, you’ll get free access to the NFL mobile app. Customers who download the app can stream all live games and get access to the NFL network’s feed. But, streaming those games will count against your monthly data allowance. If you’re not a “More Everything” subscriber, you can access NFL mobile for $5 dollars a month.
Samsung is offering a 105-inch television that has a curved display and four times the resolution of a standard HDTV. Plus, it’s a smart TV. It costs $120,000 dollars.
And, Google calls it “Baseline Study”, a project that will collect anonymous genetic and molecular information from 175 people, and later thousands more. The idea is to create what Google hopes will be the fullest picture of what a healthy human being should be. Google will use its computing power to analyze the info and find patterns, called “biomarkers”. The hope is that these biomarkers can be used to detect any disease a lot earlier.
