A Pensacola couple is facing charges after their two-year-old died from untreated burns.
Christopher Redd and Jennifer Perry were arrested on Sunday, July 28, and charged with manslaughter.
Pensacola Police say the boy, Bryson Redd, was burned over 41 percent of his body about two weeks ago.
Investigators believe he received second and third degree burns after knocking a pot of boiling water onto himself.
The parents never took him to the hospital, and told officers they treated him with ointments they bought from Walmart and Walgreens.
After going into cardiac arrest, the two-year-old was rushed to Baptist Hospital early yesterday morning where he died.
