MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Three families in west Mobile want answers after their tires were slashed, leaving them to wonder – who would do something like this?
Budd Barr was on he way to church Sunday morning when his neighbor stopped him and let him know three tires on his Tahoe were cut and flat.
“They left me one good tire,” said Barr.
Barr later learned two other families near his Karlan Drive home woke up to a disabled car as well.
” I went outside to get my newspaper and I saw my three tires were flat. Obviously there are people riding around seeing what damage they can do,” said George Patrick.
The third family lives on Demotropolis Service Road. They too, have to get new tires. One neighborhood, one big frustration.
” To do it down that street, down this street and all the way down to the cul-de-sac just go down and start punching tires it’s… very inconvenient. It’s troublesome but that’s the world we live in today,” said Barr.
Mobile Police are investigating. An officer is keeping close patrol on the neighborhood.
