In an update to a report of a senior citizen injured in a hit and run accident Friday afternoon, Prichard City spokesperson Melanie Baldwin issued a press release today on the continuing investigation.
“The investigation is pending in a collaborative effort with the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office,” said Baldwin. “On Friday, July 18, Semmes resident Mr. Thomas Hutt, 70, was the victim in a hit and run accident occurring in the area of Lott Road and HIghway 45. Hutt is in critical condition.”
Family members talked to FOX10 News this morning.
They said Prichard investigators have two suspects. However, Prichard Police have not confirmed that information.
The daughter of the injured man said he was struck by a vehicle in a store parking lot in Prichard around 3:30 p.m. Friday.
