You can see Markus perform on the rodeo stage Saturday, July 19 at 6:00pm. He’ll also be at JT’s Sunset Grill on Dauphin Island Sunday, July 20 at 1:00pm.
Markus Fox’s single, “I’m Still Coming Home” is in its 3rd week and landed at #72 on Music Row Country Breakout Chart. Markus is a veteran of both Afghanistan and Iraq. He used songwriting and playing his guitar as a way to deal with the stress of being on the front lines every day. He actively supports the military and hopes to bring awareness to the struggles veterans and their families face when they come home. For some vets, it’s much more than just arriving on American soil…for many of our soldiers and their families, they are a long time “still coming home”..
“…Leaving the past over there. I’m fighting to let go, and not being so scared. In my mind I’m still up on that ridge. Yeah I’m back home now. But I’m still crossing that bridge..”
