Two men arrested for manufacturing meth

ELBERTA, Ala. (WALA) – A high speed chase in Foley came to a crashing end when police arrested a wanted man who was allegedly manufacturing and distributing meth in Elberta. Police say this is the second arrest in their ongoing investigation.

Police arrested John Carter on Sunday, July 13 after police say he crashed his vehicle into two trees in a Foley RV park. The previous week police arrested his suspected partner in crime, Robert Liles. Police say the two men were allegedly cooking meth at Lile’s mobile home in Elberta.

Robert Lile’s father, Brady Lile, lives next door to the mobile home. Brady told us Lile and Carter were friends and that he owned the barn that the two men were allegedly manufacturing meth in.

Both Lile and Carter are in the Baldwin County Jail.
