Verizon has announced that the LG G3 smart phone, and the G smart watch will be available in stores on July 17th. The LG G3 phone will be offered in “metallic black” and “silk white”, and will sell for $100 bucks with a 2-year contract. This is $100 less than AT&T’s on-contract price. Verizon offers a plan that lets you spread payments out over 20 payments. The phone has a 5.5 inch display, and is as powerful as anything currently on the market.
Verizon will sell the G watch for $230 dollars. It has Android Wear, which connects your phone to your watch. Pause, play, and skip music tracks or quickly respond to text messages directly from your watch. You can order it online today, and pick it up in-store on the 17th.
And, Samsung is getting in on virtual reality. It’s reportedly unveiling a virtual-reality headset in September called Gear VR. The device will feature head-tracking and uses a Galaxy smart phone to follow a user’s movement. It’s expected to be used for gaming.
