22-year-old arrested in Fairhope club stabbing

Fairhope Police arrested a 22-year-old suspect in a stabbing at a local club.

On June 15 around 1:00 a.m., Fairhope Officers responded to the Double Deuce after receiving a call involving a physical altercation at the club. Once officers arrived at the scene they were alerted to a vehicle that was en route to Thomas Hospital with two individuals who were possibly stabbed during the altercation.

Officers later discovered that two Point Clear men were admitted to the hospital with multiple stab wounds and lacerations that were sustained during the altercation at the club.

After further investigation, investigator say Damian Baker was identified as the offender in the assault. Warrants were issued for Baker’s arrest.

Baker, 22, was located and arrested Wednesday, July 10, by Foley Police Department on two warrants for second-degree assault.
