7th Annual Hip Hop Week starts today!

Today marks the beginning of the 7th Annual Hip Hop Week! The week was started by Opportunity 4 Entertainers and City of Mobile leaders, as an effort to bring members of our community together and end violence in our neighborhoods.

Everything kicks off Monday, July 7th with a community clean-up in Orange Grove. Cherish Lombard will be there to help pick up trash and you’re invited too! You’re asked to meet at Florence Howard Elementary School at 9:00am, and the clean-up will go until noon.

There are a lot of other events scheduled throughout week that we’ve listed below. To find out how you can get involved, please visit http://www.alabamahiphopweek.com/ or call (251) 229-8742.
