Yesterday, we told you that Walmart is offering the 16-gigabyte iPhone 5S for $99. But, that’s not the only place you can get an iPhone for under $100 bucks. Radio Shack is offering the same phone on Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T for $99. You can actually get an iPhone 5S for zero dollars with the trade-in of an older iPhone at Radio Shack. Also, Best Buy has marked down its Verizon and Sprint iPhone 5S models to $99. So far, there’s no word on how long these deals will last.
A popular streaming TV service has temporarily shut down in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling against it. Aereo stopped it’s service over the weekend. The company’s founder sent an email to subscribers saying operations have been paused while the company determines its next step. Subscribers are being refunded their last paid month of service. The Supreme Court found Aereo violates copyright law by picking up signals of local television stations and retransmitting them over the internet.
And, Facebook conducted a secret and controversial psychology experiment two years ago on hundreds of thousands of its users to find out how they responded to both positive and negative messages on the site. Facebook found that when it altered the tone of the users’ news feeds to highlight positive posts from friends, users responded with their own positive posts. The same held true for negative emotions.
