Mobile boy gets his own “Magic Moment”

A Mobile boy’s summer looks a lot brighter, thanks to a special gift.

The non-profit, Birmingham-based group “Magic Moments” is sending Kaleb Colvin and his family on a trip to Disney World.

Kaleb is five-years-old.

When Kaleb was just one, he was in a car accident that paralyzed him from the waist down.

One of today’s “Magic Makers” says the trip will be a break from the challenges Kaleb *and* his mother face every day.

“The parents in my opinion are the heroes. just what they deal with on a day to day basis and the wonderful positive attitudes that they have. they’re superheroes as far as I’m concerned,” a group rep said.

Since 1984, more than 4,300 Alabama children have been granted a “Magic Moment.”
