Bentley talks building bridge, immigration and preformance

FOX10 News anchor Eric Reynolds sat down with Alabama Governor Robert Bentley for an exclusive interview Monday morning, June 23.

Bentley was asked what he as Governor could do to expedite the building of a new I-10 bridge near Downtown Mobile. He said that progress should be made toward building that bridge in the next four years.

On the subject of immigration, Bentley said the federal government should be doing more to enforce its own laws regarding undocumented workers.

When asked to grade his own first-term performance, Bentley said he was proud of saving taxpayers money through cost-cutting measures, and of the number of jobs that have come to Alabama during his years in office.
