Alabama woman pleads guilty in college student’s death


TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — A woman has pleaded guilty to murder in the April 2013 shooting death of a Shelton State University Student.

The Tuscaloosa News reports ( ) 19-year-old Tamarra Shavon Wilder pleaded guilty late last week to murder in the death of 17-year-old Hunter Callahan.

Authorities have said Wilder drove her three co-conspirators to a condominium complex where they were supposed to meet Callahan for a drug deal and she witnessed the shooting. Authorities say the group was planning to rob Callahan of drugs and money.

Wilder’s sentencing date hasn’t been set.
