Trafficking Arrest on USA Campus

What started as a routine traffic stop ended with a drug trafficking arrest on the campus of the University of South Alabama.

USA police say they had stopped Gary Horn for a traffic violation on campus on Wednesday, June 18, when an officer saw a gun and drugs in the car. They say Horn is not a student at the university and they don’t know why he was on campus.

FOX10 News attempted to speak with USA Police Chief Zeke Aull about the arrest, but University spokesman Bob Lowry told us the chief was not giving interviews Thursday.

Horn faces 6 charges including possession of a firearm with an altered ID, carrying a pistol without a permit and trafficking marijuana.  He has an arrest record dating back to 2006 that includes minor traffic offenses and 2 previous charges of possession of marijuana.
