Deputies make second arrest in child beating

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla (WALA) –  The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office makes a second arrest in connection the brutal beating of a 6-month-old child.

Angela Marie Morris, 27, was booked into jail on Friday, June 12 with a misdemeanor count of perjury and a felony count of a child neglect without great bodily harm. Investigators say Morris provided false information about the incident to deputies.

Walker was charged with aggravated child abuse with great bodily harm. He’s being held in the Santa Rosa County jail on $500,000 bond.

Morris is being held in the Santa Rosa County jail on $22,000 bond.
