SPECIAL EVENT INFORMATION:
Every year on the third Friday in June, Tropical Smoothie Café celebrates National Flip Flop Day, when we raise funds to benefit for our national charity partner, Camp Sunshine. But we don’t do it alone. Donations made online or in a café make a real difference in the lives of the children and families that attend Camp Sunshine. From 2 pm to 7 pm on June 20, when you wear flip flops to one of our locations, we’ll recognize your support with a FREE 24 oz Jetty Punch Smoothie!! Giving back feels good, and it tastes great too!
Sure, Tropical Smoothie Café loves flip flops so much that we’ve created a national holiday to celebrate the shoe. But, there’s more to it than just that. What started as a day to thank our customers for their loyalty to Tropical Smoothie Café has turned into a mission to raise money for Camp Sunshine. That’s because it’s the only retreat in the nation to address the effects of a life threatening illness on members of the immediate family – the parents and siblings – as well as the ill children.
ABOUT CAMP SUNSHINE:
Camp Sunshine is an amazing place. Within its beautiful grounds, children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are invited to make magical memories together, surrounded by professionals dedicated to giving them the emotional and medical support they need. In fact, they’re the only organization committed to addressing the impact that these illnesses have not just on the child who is ill, but on the entire family as well.
