MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Mobile Police Department locked its most recent, targeted business selling spice: The D&D One Stop Shop, Wednesday, June 4.
The Mobile Police Department means business when it comes to cracking down on businesses that sell spice. At 4 o’clock on Wednesday, officers locked the doors to the store after arrests were made last week. Captain Jack Dove told FOX10 News this is just another step in hotspot policing, the Department’s new way of cracking down on criminals.
“We’re going to return these neighborhoods to a safe place and get these drug people out of here. And that’s basically the aim is to do something about these drug locations and to make people feel safe again,” said Captain Dove.
There is no timeline on when, or if the business will reopen.
