BCSO: Man held on $1 million bond after marijuana bust


According to authorities, on June 3, 2014 the Baldwin County Drug Task Force conducted an investigation in the 10000 block of county road 83 in Elberta, AL. During the course of the investigation, investigators located an indoor marijuana grow inside the residence and outside in a shed.

pot3Approximately 20 mature and immature marijuana plants were located. Also located, was a large amount of marijuana butter. Marijuana butter is used to bake cookies and other marijuana infused foods, according to authorities.

Authorities said, Justin Elijah Goldman 33 was arrested after he returned home from work.

butterAccording to authorities, Goldman is currently in the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Center on a $1,001,000.00 bond.

The overall weight of the plants was around 12 pounds. Goldman has been charged with trafficking in Marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia

Goldman has had prior drug arrests, authorities said.
