Man sends ‘Help’ text, goes missing

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Mobile police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who sent a text that said “Help”.

Officials said on Thursday, May 22, 33-year-old Charles Jackson and a family member got into an argument. They said the next day, Jackson was walking to Citronelle to meet his girlfriend in the Moffett and Schillinger roads area.

Authorities said he sent out a text message that said “Help”.

Since then, officials said Jackson has not used his cell phone and has not been seen.

Jackson is described as a white male, 5’8″ with brown hair and eyes. He has tattoos on both arms, “Laugh Now” on one side, and “Cry Later” on the other. He also has the number 13 on his right wrist and flames on his left arm.

If anyone has spotted Jackson or knows his whereabouts they are asked to call 251-208-1805.
