It’s been a rough go of it lately at Citronelle, but the Wildcat program is on the up-swing with second-year head coach Barry Gibson. Citronelle has not seen postseason play since 2008, but Gibson and the crew are already making adjustments to change that this fall.
“Been waiting for this for a long time, ever since the season’s over you immediately get into the offseason program and then after that you start looking toward spring practice. It’s a new team, new attitude, there will be new faces out there, so as a coach I really look forward to it and every team has it’s own identity and I’m really looking forward to seeing what this team brings to the table,” said head coach Barry Gibson.
“It’s time for the team to get to know eachother better and a time to see where we’re at and where we’ll be next year,” said tight end Dalton Reed.
