R.A.D. (Reptile Awareness Day)

The Southwest Alabama Herpetological Society presents the *new and improved* 3rd Annual R.A.D. (Reptile Awareness Day)!

The event takes place Saturday, May 24th 2014 at the Environmental Studies Center from 10am to 3pm. The Center is located at 6101 Girby Road, Mobile.

If you are into scaly creatures, this is where you want to be! They will showcase aspects of reptile and amphibians in Southern Alabama. That includes: captive care and husbandry, professional breeders of genetic mutations, rescue groups with adoptable animals, native Alabama species (including venemous snakes!), proper methods of species identification, conservation and ecological displays, invasive species and a display of reptiles from all over the globe!
