BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – In an operation not typical for Baldwin County, the Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Board arrested six people allegedly connected to prostitution.
The operation happened Friday night, May 16 at motel south of Interstate 10 and north of U.S. Highway 98. The bust took place with the cooperation of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Foley Police Department.
Officials arrested Sateria Hickerson, Ernest Blout, Lisa Allen, David Stafford, Eva Lemott and David Brown. Investigators told FOX10 News that the motel where the operation took place was not where the alleged prostitution was occurring.
Hickerson, Blout, Lemott and Brown are currently out of jail on bond. Official said the investigation is ongoing and there may be additional arrests down the road.
“There’s a couple of arrests that we’re looking into further to see if it goes any further than what charges have already been brought and it may take us some time to deem if that is the case or not,” Sgt. Tim Spears of ABC said.
FOX10 News will continue to follow this investigation as it develops.
