FOX10News Chief Meteorologist Jason Smith is the Emcee of the Delta Rendezvous at Live Oak Landing in north Baldwin County.
Organizers say they hope families will travel to Stockton to enjoy the beautiful Delta Region and take part in the many activities at this event.
The all-day affair includes fishing tournaments, archery demonstrations, arts and crafts, food and music.
Organizers say the Delta Rendezvous serves as a benefit for Alabama Hunger Relief.
According to the news release, Alabama Hunger Relief is a non-profit agency created to promote and raise funds for the hungry in the state. Organizers say “one in six people live in poverty and the state ranks among the highest in the country in levels of hunger and food poverty at 15-19%.”
The AHR press release says since 2012, they have provided more than 3,000 pounds of processed venison to food banks and church kitchens in Baldwin and Mobile Counties.
