GULF SHORES Ala. (WALA) – A big part of people coming down to the Hangout Music Festival is figuring out where to stay. And as there are people who were still looking for tickets well into Friday evening, some are still scouting for a place to crash.
Bill Brett, manager of Brett/Robinson, told Fox10 News they reached about 90 percent capacity going into this weekend. He said the majority of hotel rooms that are available now are in Orange Beach and start around $300.
Brett believes the lineup this year is what allowed the festival to completely sell out as well as the rooms.
“The atmosphere this year is a little bit better. I think a lot of it is due to the lineup. Better bands that more people like and so there’s more people here,” Brett said.
