Mobile Police Investigators say a family argument resulted in the shooting death of a step-father by his step-son.
Ashley Rains, with the Public Information Office of the Mobile Police Department, tells Fox10News the homicide happened inside a home on Dwight Court off Sollie Road in Mobile around 8:30 a.m..
Rains said police investigators were called to the house, which is on the 3800 block of Dwight Court. “Upon arrival, police discovered 42 year-old, Timothy Hunter, with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injury.”
Investigators say the 28 year-old stepson, Kendis Chambers, shot the victim during the domestic dispute.
Police say the suspect was arrested and is expected to be charged with murder. FOX10News will have more on this investigation at FOX10 News at 9 p.m.
