Apple has spent some big bucks in the past. But the company is about to make its biggest purchase ever. The Financial Times says, Apple is about to buy headphone maker and music company “Beats by Dr. Dre”. The deal is going to cost Apple three-point-two *billion* dollars. If the deal goes through, it will be the largest acquisition Apple has ever made. Dr. Dre and music producer Jimmy Iovine founded “Beats Electronics” seven years ago. Earlier this year, they launched a music-streaming service called “Beats Music”.
And, turns out those private Snapchats weren’t so private after all. The popular messaging app has agreed to settle with the government over charges it deceived its customers. It’s only a slap on the wrist though: no fine. Now, Snapchat has to allow privacy auditors to inspect it for the next 20 years.
