A reminder for those passing by Bel Air Mall around 6:00 p.m. this afternoon.
The Mobile Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement agencies, will take part in a “comprehensive, integrated training exercise,” according to a press release by the FBI Mobile office at the shopping mall.
So, if you see a lot of police cars, sheriff and fire rescue vehicles in the Bel Air Mall parking lot, don’t panic. It is all part of this training exercise.
“This training exercise is about the handling and the protocol involved in an active shooter incident. The Mobile Police Department, Mobile Fire-Rescue, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security will also participate in this exercise,” according to FBI officials.
