The Mobile Division of the FBI, in conjunction with state, county and municipal law enforcement partners will be hosting a comprehensive integrated training exercise at Bel Air Mall, Sunday, May 4.
Officials said the training provides fundamental instruction and addresses protocols for a multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional response to an active shooter incident. The Mobile Police Department, Mobile Fire-Rescue, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Homeland Security will all participate in the exercise.
The FBI said it remains committed to protecting Americans both at home and abroad. The exercise will serve to build upon relationships with our state and local law enforcement partners which will enhance the response to any incident while at the same time ensuring new strategies and technologies.
