The spring football season has come to a close in Tuscaloosa and the Crimson Caravan has hit the road to visit fans. Alabama’s Nick Saban and company stopped in Mobile Thursday evening, and despite the off season, Saban had quite a bit to talk about. From offseason workouts, to academics – Saban’s hot topic seemed to be next week’s NFL Draft.
Alabama has about a dozen former players entering this year’s draft; arguably no bigger name than Theodore’s, C.J. Mosley.
“C.J. Mosley is a fantastic young man who has done a tremendous job for us over the last four years. I couldn’t be prouder of the way he represented the University of Alabama and his family and the great career that he had. I think he’s going to do very well in the draft. I know a lot of people really like him,.he’s an every down player; he can play on third down, first down. I think those are the kind of inside-backers that people are looking for at this day and age in football,” said Saban.
