Darryl Strawberry to Speak at Home of Grace Spring Benefit

The Home of Grace for Women does great work in our community, helping women recover from drug and alcohol addiction.

You can help the mission by attending their spring benefit, featuring an inspirational message from baseball legend Darryl Strawberry and his wife.

Doris Littleton and Ericka Byrd from Home of Grace joined us on Studio10 to tell us more about this great event.

Darryl Strawberry is a former American Major League Baseball Outfielder. During his 17 year career, he played with the NY Mets, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and
the San Francisco Giants. Darryl was voted Rookie of the Year in 1983, was on the team that won the 1983 World Series, and was inducted into the NY Mets Hall of Fame in
2010. Over the past decade, he and his wife, Tracy, have gone to extraordinary lengths to make the world a better place to live in.

Strawberry Ministries, have famously advocated Action for Autism, youth & community outreach, Christian healing, and support for those dependent upon alcohol & illicit
substances. Rising above years of self-destructive behaviors, including drug addiction, Darryl has become an everyday hero spreading hope and a message of spiritual fitness and
conditioning throughout the United States and in the sports world.
