Nearly a dozen roads have been closed during the day because of flooding in Pensacola.
One street is South Fairfield Drive near the intersection of 72nd Avenue.
A BP convenience store at the corner was flooded as well, and people who live in the area said this is just one hard hit area.
When asked how many homes he knew of that were flooded, one man said, “A lot. We took a trip just around the Warrington area, Myrtle Grove, and there are a lot of homes. It’s just all over the place, scattered everywhere.”
Drivers were forced to take detours around Pensacola to avoid flooded streets.
