The second of two suspects in what Mobile Police are saying was a home invasion and robbery on Gunn Road is now behind bars. According to Mobile Metro Jail records, 22 year-old Gregory Murphy was booked into the jail Friday night around 11:30 p.m.
Mobile Police say Murphy and 21-year-old Paul O’Brien robbed a man at gunpoint inside the victim’s home on Gunn Road in Mobile last Wednesday.
Investigators say the victim said he was pistol-whipped as the alleged robbers demanded cash.
Mobile Police say they caught up with O’Brien a few hours after the alleged robbery and assault but Gregory got away. He’s now in jail and according to jail records, he will be in court on June 9 on several charges related to the alleged home invasion and robbery.
