Fairhope High students learn about broadcast journalism

FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) – High school students in grades 9-12 at Fairhope High School learned about the field of broadcast journalism from FOX10 News reporter Michael Brannon on Tuesday, April 22.

Brannon spoke to Mrs. Rocky Moore and Mrs. Amanda Lloyd’s Oral Communication class about what it takes to be a reporter to how to properly conduct an interview. Students were eager to learn about the business and how to communicate effectively in all fields of study.

Special thanks to Mrs. Lloyd on organizing the talk.

Also on tour, Fairhope High School’s television news program: PNN, or Pirate Nation News, with teacher Robby Trione.
