Want to be a part of a global selfie? NASA is inviting everyone on the planet to take part in a worldwide celebration of Earth Day.
They’re launching the #GlobalSelfie event. All you have to do is snap a photo of yourself, then post it on one of five social media sites, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Google Plus and Flickr.
Then, NASA will use those photos to create a mosaic image of Earth.
Five NASA missions designed to gather critical data about our home planet are launching to space this year. NASA is marking this big year for Earth science with a campaign called Earth Right Now, and are kicking it off with the Earth Day 2014 #GlobalSelfie. You can also print out this sign to let NASA know where you are.
