Jermaine Cungious, 18 charged in the shooting of a Spanish Fort teenager in Gulf Shores last week, is in the Baldwin County Detention Center under a $6000 bond.  Cungious was transferred to the Baldwin County Detention Center in Bay Minette early Sunday, April 20.

Cungious turned himself in to Gulf Shores Police Saturday afternoon.  He was charged with reckless endangerment and Assault 2nd degree.

Investigators say the Bay Minette teenager is accused of shooting 18 year-old Tommie Jackson of Spanish Fort during an argument at a party on the Gulf Shores public beach in the area of the boardwalk near East Gulf Place April 16.

Investigators say Jackson was shot in the arm and was treated and released from South Baldwin Regional Medical Center.  The senior from Spanish Fort High School played football for the Toros.
