The afternoon weather was perfect and so were the musical notes floating from downtown Mobile, as the Southsounds Music Festival continued Saturday.
This is the third year for the event, which began Friday night and ends Sunday.
A stage has been set up at Cathedral Square, but venues are also going on at Moe’s Original Bar-B-Que, The Blind Mule and Callaghan’s Irish Social Club. General admission tickets are $25.
According to its website, “Te festival is spread across downtown Mobile and planned in conjunction with the arts festival Arts Alive. “
Southsounds officials say their primary goal is to “flood downtown Mobile with amazing art and music and to help people discover their favorite new (Southern) Band.” The music continues tonight and begins again at 12 p.m. Sunday.
