BayBears beat Biscuits in home opener

The Mobile BayBears opened up their 2014 home season with a bang. The BayBears shut out the Montgomery Biscuits, 6-0 at Hank Aaron Stadium. Mobile moves to 4-2 on the season, as Montgomery falls to 3-3 in 2014.

Mobile scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning and never looked back. The winning pitcher, Chase Anderson, collects his second win of the year, with six strikeouts on the night. BayBears right fielder, Jordan Parraz led the team with 2 hits. First baseman, Jon Griffin, had three RBI, as BayBears recorded 11 total hits.

Mobile will suit up against Montgomery at Hank Aaron Stadium, Thursday night at 7:05.
