Saban: I’m not real proud of losing streak

Alabama football coach Nick Saban visited Mobile for the annual Team Focus fundraiser event. Saban addressed the media to talk a little football – Alabama has a few spring practices remaining before their A-Day game on April 19th.

“Well, we lost two games in a row and that’s a losing streak that I’m not real proud of, so I think a lot of the things that were the principals and values that the program were built on in the very beginning, a lot of the energy and enthusiasm that everybody in our state had for the program – I think we all got a little entitled in terms of what we need to do to continue to be successful,” said Saban.

The head coach spoke about his thoughts on spring practice thus far.

“Well, we haven’t lost any games this Spring so we’re pleased about that – but I think we’re pleased with the progress that our team is making, I like the attitude of our team – we’re not satisfied with where we are, we certainly have a lot of things that we can improve on and look forward to the next few practices, scrimmages and A-day, to have the opportunity to do it,” said Saban.

Alabama’s A-Day game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19th, at 2:00pm at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
